It started with a little girl who dressed like herself.
How it started
Nothing matched.
It worked.
When my daughter was little, she’d disappear into her room and come back wearing the most incredible outfits.
Nothing matched. At least not by grown-up standards.
She’d layer all her favorite things together—rainbows, leopard print, bright colors, sparkles, stripes. And somehow… it worked.
She wasn’t thinking about trends or whether things “went together.” She was dressing like herself.
Watching her made me realize something

A brand made for
kids like her
I’d spent years working in children’s apparel design and learning what kids actually love to wear. But most stores were filled with carefully coordinated outfits designed to look the way adults thought kids should dress.
Meanwhile, real kids were mixing prints, layering favorites, and creating combinations nobody would’ve planned.
That’s where Best Day Ever Kids came from. I wanted to build the kind of brand my daughter would love—full of color, personality, creativity, and pieces kids can make their own.
The funny thing is, she still inspires almost everything we do. Every time I find a piece that’s a little unexpected, playful, or weird, I think about those outfits she’d put together in her room.
